One of the most important key to make money online is to be giving. Yes you heard that right: Be Giving. How you ever heard of the phrase: “The more you give, the more you will receive?” It’s true!
A lot of people failed to apply this concept into their online business which is why they didn’t manage to reach their potential of earning the most money. For me, I believe in giving the best information to my readers, at least things that I know will bring benefits to them. Never try to withhold information from them. I guess the problem is that people are afraid that if they give too much information, it might hurt their business but by not giving enough, it might also hurt their business as well.
But the strange thing is that the more you give, the more business you will receive. It has a viral effect because people will spread good things about your online business. So start learning to give today to earn money online!
You really must be very organized if you want to make money online. A lot of people suffered from an information overload. If you are organized, you will know where to look for information or where you have stored your information.
For me, I must say that I’m not a very organized person sometimes which was why I took some time off just to do some housekeeping to my desktop yesterday. I feel very satisfied after seeing that my desktop is so organized. Now I know where to look for information related to making online money. I have spend lots of time taking down notes and storing them into various documents and folders.
What I have done is to put all my information into one central folder called Affiliate Marketing and inside that folder, I went on to create a few other folders like eBooks, Article Marketing, Email Marketing, Bum Marketing etc, all the topics that are related to making money online.
If you feel that you have too much information or what most people termed as information overload, start organizing your information today.
If you want to make money online, you cannot afford to be lazy. Laziness is the number one killer that has prevented many people from realizing their dream of making money online. In fact, you got to work doubly hard in the initial stage of starting your blogging business. Not just work hard but work smart. See what your competitors are doing, imitate them. I believe a lot of people including myself wants to be as successful as those who are making big money online but do not know how to go about doing it. The secret is actually to model after them.
The only time you can really sit back and relax is when your blogging business is already on autopilot mode meaning you don’t have to do much and the profits just keeps pouring in. That is the ultimate stage you would want to get to, a system that can generate autopilot profits for you day after day. Online = Technology. How can you make money online without even knowing how to use the Internet or at least the computer? Anyway that’s not my main topic. My main topic is that in order to make money online, you need to embrace technology. Web 2.0 seem to be the latest thing to hit the online community. Even blogs are considered part of web 2.0 social networking tools. So what is Web 2.0? It is those social networking sites that you are seeing online like Facebook, Digg, Youtube, Squidoo etc… All these belong to an arsenal of Web 2.0 tools that people are now using to increase blog traffic.
One of the things you can do is to sign up for accounts with the more popular social networking sites. Start an account and do up your profile, not forgetting to leave your blog url behind for people to click on. Take adavantage of Web 2.0 to build relationship and credibilty with the people you meet online. Maybe they are now your competitors but who knows one day they might become your partners? If they are your partners, you have one less competitor to overcome so it makes making money online easier.
There are a lot of ways to increase traffic to your blog or website and one of them is bum marketing, a method that lazy people would use. No offence intended though. I would say it’s one of the best long term strategy that you should be using if you want consistent blog or web traffic.
Bum marketing is also known as article marketing which means you write articles after articles and you submit them to those popular article directories online that has lots of readers. Can you see the benefit now? More readers = more viewership = more TRAFFIC. One of the more popular article directory is Ezine. If you are going to use Ezine, you got to start the moment you got your hosting account. The reason is bcause it will take at least a week for those staff over at Ezine to review yor article. You do not want to lose precious time as time = money. If you can, submit at least 10 articles and hopefully all are approve and you get the platinum status where your articles will be approved much faster.
One of the problems faced by people who are using bum marketing is that they are not good at writing or they cannot churned out so many articles at once. The solution is therefore to hire ghostwriter if you got the money. If not, you just got to read widely and practice writing. I was not borned a writer as well but I believe that practice makes perfect. One of the best articles that will attract lots of reader is to write from your heart, don’t worry too much about grammer or spelling mistakes. Refer to a dictionary if there is a need.
If you are serious about making big money online, do not give up. Yes, do not give up the moment you did not see any money making opportunities! This is what I’m telling myself as well. A lot of people give up the moment they fail to see any money in the account. They went in hoping that they can be like the rest of the successful entrepreneur who manage to make thousands a month, sometimes up to 6 figure. I was a victim myself as well. I wanted fast cash. I do not know how many times I wanted to give up during my quest to make money online, something which I still believe it’s possible.
Most of the successful entrepreneur you see out there who are making the money has this trait in them: They do up give up easily, even when they are face with lots of obstacles. They push on. The biggest enemy for people who never managed to succeed is themselves, not their competitors. Because of all the negative, unfounded fears that they have, they doubt themselves. I fully understand the feeling. It’s unhealthy. It is causing a lot of lost money making opportunities. They started something and they give up when they do not see any results.
Sometimes the funny thing is that when they are just about to give up, the money starts to pour in. It feels good, it gives them the moral boast, a thumbs up that what they are doing are finally paying off and they continue on.
Remember this: Continue to push on and do not give up! Money making opportunities will come and you will start making money soon.

In fact, if you were to ask entrepreneurs who are already successful in the earn money online niche, I can gurantee that they too do not know everything, maybe just a little bit more than you. I believe they started off with nothing as well but they are willing to take the risk and try. I regretted not starting earlier since I took to blogging since 2004 using Blogger at that time. I did start but not much effort was put in since all I wanted to do was to blog about my life and maybe hope to earn some adsense money in the process.
The reason why I am blogging about this is because I do not want people to make the same mistake as me. I guess the most common problem faced by most people is that they tend to read a lot but they take no action. They continue to read everyday about how people earn big money online, hoping that the same would happen to them but it is not going to help if you are just going to read. What I would suggest is to do as you learn and you will achieve much more in the process so stop reading and start doing!
One of the important key to make money online is building your reputation or reputation management. It can be found in your About page. It is a page where you tell others about who you are. It will be even better if you can upload a photo of yourself. Try to come off as somone who is honest and has nothing to hide. Be as genuine as possible. Your readers can tell whether you are the same person behind the screen from the way you portray yourself through your blogs.
If you really want to make money online in blogging, you got to dare to compete with your competitors. Find out who are your competitors. Do not be afraid that you will lose them. Do not listen to others that you should not compete with the big boys and just be a small fry. Plan your Internet Marketing Strategy well. Will you be happy to let those big boys make all the big money while you just sit back and do nothing? How do you know that you will lose when you have not even compete? If you lose because you have tried, that’s another different thing altogether.
One of the internet marketing strategy you can do is to imitate them. Look at what they are writing on their blog and try to do it better. Do everything that they are telling you to do. It’s a transparent competition out there. Analyse it with all the tools available out there. I have seen a blog that is less than 2 years rise up the ranks and beat the big boys or at least competing with them on the same level. It can be done so do not lose heart. Plan your internet marketing strategy well.
