Fourth Step - Create List Of Hobbies

So now you have a blog and you have signed up for an Adsense account, it’s time you start to fill up your blog with content. Not just content but good quality content that people wants to read.

If you do not have any idea on what to write, it’s good to spend some time to find out what are your interests or hobbies. Probably you can list out 5 - 10 of them. One way of knowing is to look at the things you are doing everyday. Does the things you do make you feel happy? It is very important to do something you like or enjoy rather than something you do not like. It must also be sustainable over a long period of time.

For me, one of my interest is in writing because it allows me to express myself in ways which I cannot do so verbally. I’m glad that there’s such an invention called blogging. After writing something, like for example this blog entry, it makes me feel happy that I had completed something and this thing might benefit someone else.  

After you have got your list of interest, you can start to write topics around your interest. Try to build a theme for your blog based on your interest. For me, my blog theme would be making money online through blogging.

Besides filling your blog with content, you must also make sure that there is a group of readers who wants to read your blog if you intent to earn money from it because reader traffic is very important. There’s where Keyword Research will come into play. The Internet is also based on economics: Supply and Demand.

In this case, it will be Keyword Research.
